Our terms and conditions are given below and your continued use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions which apply to all transactions on this website. We advise you to read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order. If you have any questions, please contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax before-hand. Moon Furniture is the trading name of Chad Furniture Store Ltd whose registered office and address is Moon Retail Park, Roch Valley Way, Rochdale, OL11 4QN.

 

Payment of goods can be made by credit / debit card. Once payment has been authorized, we will contact you to accept your order and inform you of stock availability and arrange delivery. We reserve the right to decline all or part of any order for whatsoever reason and should this occur we will e-mail you with these details. If we cannot supply the goods ordered, you will be informed as soon as possible and your money will be refunded. Our prices include VAT but exclude delivery charges. We will deliver the goods ordered to the address given by you. Please see our delivery charges and delivery areas.

 

We aim to deliver your furniture within the time quoted but cannot accept any liability for consequential loss and/ or any other loss if it is delayed for  any reason whatsoever. Our expert Delivery Service team will carefully install your new furniture in your home, exactly where you want it (subject to access). They will remove all wrappings and packaging and dispose of them for you. Old furniture may be removed on a like for like basis, for a small charge. Before placing an order, please check the size and dimensions of goods ordered and ensure the items of furniture will fit through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways on the way to the destination room. Only you can decide if the goods will fit through the door, will go up the stairs, will fit in the room. We do not accept goods back if you have ordered them incorrectly and a cancellation cannot be accepted on any goods under these circumstances. You are responsible for ensuring that the goods are suitable and fit for purpose in this respect. All descriptions, dimensions and materials have been given by way of identification only and the use of such information shall not constitute a sale by description.

 

All deliveries need to be signed for. If you are out when our delivery team arrives, we will leave a card with a contact number for you to call and arrange delivery at a future date. Please note that there may be an additional charge for this. You are entitled to a statutory cooling off period beginning from the date you placed your order and ending 7 working days after you received the goods. Certain goods are exempt from this cooling off period, for example a mattress which has been taken out of its sealed packaging in which it was delivered, and special orders or bespoke items ordered. You must inform us in writing during the cooling off period that you are cancelling the contract (e-mails are accepted). Our maximum liability for shortages and defects in respect of any goods shall be the amount paid by you in respect thereof. Under no circumstances shall we be liable to you for loss of profits, economic loss or any other loss

 

If you cancel the contract before receiving the goods or delivery has been arranged, we will refund all the monies paid by you as soon as possible and within 30 days in any event of the cancellation being accepted. If delivery has already been arranged then you must return the goods in their unopened and original packaging. In such cases delivery charges to and from you will be deducted from the refund. If you have already received the goods when the contract is cancelled then you must return the goods to us as soon as possible and within seven days of cancellation in any event. We will refund all the monies paid by you excluding delivery charges provided that the goods are returned to us in their unopened and original packaging. No refund will be given for opened or damaged boxes or goods assembled by you.

 

We try to ensure that all goods are sent in good condition. If any goods arrive damaged or defective in any way, inform the delivery team immediately who will take the appropriate action, or contact us within 3 days of delivery by telephone, letter, fax or e-mail. All goods will be repaired or replaced as soon as possible, or a refund given. We cannot accept return of any items after this period. All furniture sold is intended for domestic use only. The seller cannot accept responsibility if used for contract/ commercial purposes. All goods are covered by a one-year manufacturers warranty against faulty workmanship. This is dependant on the buyer’s compliance of general guidelines, and does not cover accidental damage caused by the buyer.

 

We reserve the right not to accept any order for whatever reason. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected. Moon Furniture is providing this Website on an “as is” basis and neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and all liability of Moon Furniture howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. You specifically authorise us to obtain information about you from third parties to authenticate your identity, to validate your debit or credit card and to authorise the transaction.

Neither Moon Furniture nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for any loss or any damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this website. Moon Furniture accepts no liability for any information or content contained in external third party websites which link to or from this website.
